So, what do you get when you mix Christian Bale, Heath Ledger, Morgan Freeman, and Gotham City?
Here's a guess, a 155 million dollar blockbuster. Still no idea? What are you living under a rock or something? You get one of the greatest movies in existence, known as The Dark Knight. Saturday afternoon myself and Bauhaus attended a showing of the much hyped and eagerly anticipated movie. How great could it really be? Read on, if you're not convinced to see it then go back to watching your VHS copies of The Piano, and Little Women because you my friend have no hope. |

Bill O'Reilly tries his hand at the hoverbike stage in Battletoads. I think this might be the only time people will ever be able to relate to this man's anger. In fact, I'm quite impressed with how calm he is while playing it.

On Saturday, June 7th 2008 Nem, myself and my neighbor went to the local comic store to check out the release of the highly anticipated/controversial Dungeons and Dragons 4th edition from Wizards of the Coast. Since Wizards of the Coast bought TSR and revamped the D&D system in edition 3.0 they have constantly sought to simplify and streamline the system to make it more enjoyable to actually play and overall less time consuming. It is this very change that D&D purists are against, yet it proves to be some of the best changes to the system in years.

Have you ever watched a movie and recognized a sound from another movie? How about a particular sound of someone screaming? I have been hearing the same scream sound used in every Star Wars and Indiana Jones movie and it drives me insane.

A quick play through of Contra without the help of the Konami Code. I was almost able to turn this into a no death run, but not quite. The game is still difficult, but if you are careful and hold onto spread, it isn't as hard as you might think. This was one of my favorite games as a kid, so I've always been pretty good at it. On a side note, if you do want to use the konami code, it is ↑ ↑ ↓ ↓ ← → ← → B A Start, with a select before start if you are playing with 2 players.

The Nintendo Entertainment System was home to some of the greatest games of all time. Many of the greatest gaming series of all time, including Mario, The Legend of Zelda, Final Fantasy, and metroid made their introductions here. However, there were also many games which did not get the attention they deserved. We didn't have the internet back in those days, so word of mouth didn't spread the way it does these days. We'd go by what our friends were playing, or by what Nintendo Power told us to play. Here are 10 games I feel deserve more credit than they received back then

I have become quite a huge fan of Valve's Steam and I get excited every time I see them add a new game to their list. My most recent addition, Trials 2 Second Edition, took me back to my early gaming years with Excitebike.

The original Nintendo Entertainment System had some of the most infuriating games ever made. While some games were better than others, most NES games shared a common theme... Fucking impossible. How many NES games do you remember being easy? Not that many. Hell, the original Mario Brothers and Zelda games were hard as hell. Compare that to this generation and how incredibly easy Mario Galaxy is. Here are the 20 I think are the hardest, along with some honorable mentions, because no list is ever big enough to cover all of them

Once again, that naughty Jesus is prostituting himself out to the ends of the Earth in an attempt to strengthen the numbers of his followers. Fortunately for us, we have key binds that allow us to POINT him out so that nobody ends up getting back-stabbed. Fuck you Jesus, I'll spawn as a pyro! |
