I really like that they are going 'old school' with this game. It reminds me of Super Mario DS. I really liked that game as well.

X series isn't that bad. Sure, 5 - 7 were increasingly craptastic and eventually downright unplayable, but 1-4 and 8 were pretty good. there is also an rpg related to this series called 'command mission' but I haven't touched it... sounded very halfassed.

old-school series also started to get crappy around 6 (when nintendo had to distribute the game because capcom usa wasn't thrilled) and onward, with the controls suddenly becoming a pain in the ass on non-nes systems.

The zero series and related zx series are pretty decent in general. a little too much talking and sidemission bullcrap for my tastes, but the action is top notch.

megaman legends was interesting, but i haven't played the sequels.
