When I first heard Final Fantasy 4 was being remade for the ds, my expectations were low. As it is my favorite of the series, and one of my all time favorite rpgs, I expected to be more disappointed with the changes than anything. Playing through final fantasy 3 for the ds all but confirmed my fears. The feminine, childish characters seemed more likely to decorate your room than kill dangerous monsters. When I finally got my hands on FF4, though, I was quite surprised. The new version has amazing graphics, great cut scenes, enhanced skills, and improved difficulty that make for a great experience. And despite what I expected, the only character remade to look overwhelmingly girly was Edward (who was gay to begin with)
You might not have heard (if you've been living under a damn rock), that Microsoft and Nintendo were coming together to bring Goldeneye (from the N64) to Xbox 360 Live! This news caused much splooge to be spilled by the legions of geeks nerdgasming all over their computers.

I wasn't expecting much when I picked up Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games. It received mediocre reviews, and appeared to be another shitty mini-game collection. With such turds as Wario Warez, Monkeyball, Mario Party 8, and Wii Play, I didn't hold my breath for anything special (Wii Sports and Rayman are the only good ones). However, I was happy to find one of the better wii titles to date.
