Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker Review

E-mail Print PDF

Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker There are few games that can get me to drag my Nintendo DS out of the closet, but Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker is definitely now one of them.  After picking this game up last week, I have been hard pressed to find time to put it down and interact with family and friends, not that I care about that stuff.  I mean, you have to have your priorities set and games will always be at the top of my list, right next to jacking off.

A list of upcoming games that the staff at FlamingBaby are looking forward to. Do not start bitching that [insert game title here] isn't on the list. Frankly, we don't give a damn. We are not asking you which games should be on the list, we're telling you the ones you should like. If you don't like them or feel offended reading this, then you're probably just a retard anyway.

Some helpful tips/tricks for those playing the Enemy Territory: Quake Wars beta and for those who are planning on buying the game. This isn't a full on guide, rather some simple advice for those having questions on how certain things work. I tried to list only useful info that I myself didn't pick up on right away.

Bauh4us WSVG Blog Day 4:

E-mail Print PDF

Woke up at around 3pm (having played until around 4am the night before) and quickly showered and got ready for some games.  I came downstairs to find it pretty quiet with only DaHang and Forever playing games.  I checked my email and then walked over to watch some games.  The really amazing thing about this bootcamp to me is how close all the top players are.  This camp is really proving the “any given Sunday” rule.  I have a reasonable idea of who I think the stronger players are, but with just a bit of spawn luck “lesser” players are beating the stronger ones.  It really makes me excited for this tournament as I truly believe that some of the players here really have a chance to makes some noise.

Bauh4us WSVG Blog Day 3:

The morning practice sessions started in earnest at around noon.  I was playing Ermac while Lost-Cauze (LC) took games against whoever was available.  Ermac completely destroyed me on Monsoon but I managed to keep Phrantic a bit closer.  After about an hour of straight playing it was off to Best Buy to fetch new monitors for LC and Gellehsak and possible a new mouse for LC (his Razer Death adder’s mouse wheel was acting strange) .

Bauh4us WSVG Blog Day 2:

E-mail Print PDF

After spending an eventful night trying and failing to get Quake 4 and RA3 up and running I woke up determined to get the problems fixed and finally get some games played.  I showered and started downloading the new patches needed for Quake to work.  When I realized this would take roughly three hours I started to lobby for food.  I was then informed that we had to wait for Ermac and Ceppy to return from the airport with Gellehsak from EG.  When they arrived it was food time.

Arrived at Enhance’s house around 9:00, immediately woke up a sleeping Ceepy who was crashed out on the couch.  He seemed amiable enough with the fact that I woke him.
