A list of upcoming games that the staff at FlamingBaby are looking forward to. Do not start bitching that [insert game title here] isn't on the list. Frankly, we don't give a damn. We are not asking you which games should be on the list, we're telling you the ones you should like. If you don't like them or feel offended reading this, then you're probably just a retard anyway.

Bioshock (PC, x360)
The upcoming horror/shooter game has been the talk of the net recently after its demos started clogging the tubes. The controls are tighter than Anne Heche's fish taco and the graphics are hotter than my most illicit dreams of me covering Hayden Panettiere with my own bio shooter. The only negative is that the game is single player only, but the developers are talking about adding multiplayer in a sequel. If you're a fan of first-person shooters, then there is no way that you can miss out on this.

Stranglehold (PC, x360)
This is the first game that I've ever seen that looks like it will play out like a movie. How could it now with the genius John Woo behind it? The trailers show that Woo's ability at making intense action films can easily carry over to video games in a big way. Then on top of that, throw in a badass actor like Chow Yun-Fat and you've hit gold. This should put you directly in the action, just as if you were in one of Woo's movies.

Lair (PS3)
I would never buy a PS3, but I would consider renting this game to play on a friend's. There is just something about huge, flying, fire-breathing dragons that makes me want to "burninate the country side". The game looks amazing and the game play is supposed to be even better. Definitely, check this one out if you're a Sony PS3 sucker. Maybe owning this game will make you feel like less of a chump for purchasing this console.

Halo 3 (x360 and coming to PC in 200 years)
And then there was one... Despite for me believing (knowing) that first-person shooters are better on pc than consoles, it is really hard to not put this game in the list. The first Halo was absolutely amazing on the Xbox. The game play was tons of fun, the single player story line was engaging, and the multiplayer was even better. Halo 1 on PC was 'ok', but was unbalanced due to a HIGHLY accurate pistol as a starting weapon. Then the asstastic game Halo 2 came out. I still don't see how this game is as popular as it is. Perhaps the people playing this have jacked up vision to begin with and don't mind the narrow ass FOV that it forces you in to. Not to mention the fact that the rocket launcher takes up nearly 30% of your screen. The game play may have been good, but I couldn't get past getting sick after the first 5 seconds of the game to even give a damn. Here's to hoping that Halo 3 pulls its head out of its ass and delivers something more along the lines of Halo 1 with improvements.

Enemy Territory: Quake Wars (PC)
Oh Quake, how I love thee. You could easily call me a Quake fan boy. I've probably played Quake 3 Arena (OSP and Threewave) more than any other game. Luckily for me and a few of my friends, we all got into the Enemy Territory: Quake Wars beta. So, let me just tell you straight out that this game is tons of fun. You might think that it is just another Battlefield game, but you'd be wrong. With the addition of strafe jumping, this game is much quicker. There is also nothing like uses a fallen enemies' dead body as your next spawn point, or grabbing the clothes of its back and pretending to be the enemy. Having your enemies see you as a friendly as you walk by and then stab them in the back is one of the greatest gaming joys that can be experienced. With their newest release of the Beta, they have fixed some minor issues and tightened up hit detection. So expect for this game to be really stable and loads of fun when it does get released.

Half-Life 2: Episode 2 (PC)
Half-Life 2 is one of the best first-person shooters to come out in the past few years. This being the second episode release, should quench the thirst of all of the single player gamers’ out there. If that wasn't enough, you can get The Orange Box edition to get a few extra treats. It comes with another single player game called Portal, which has the player solve various puzzles by creating entry and exit portals to navigate through the levels. Then, it also includes Team Fortress 2, which is a sequel to one of the best FPS mods to date. Team Fortress 2 is a team, class-based, FPS that will not disappoint.

Bleach: Shattered Blade (Wii)
Now, don't bash me for having an anime-based game on the list. But, I am highly anticipating the release of this one. Bleach is one of Japan's most watched animes and it has been popular enough for them to port an English version over to Cartoon Network (not that I would ever condone watching a dubbed version over a subtitled original). Despite for being a fan of the series, I'm really interested in trying out an action fighting game on the Wii. It would be really hard to label it as a button masher, when all you are doing is swing the Wiimote around. The controls can really be hit or miss here, so try before you buy.

Neverwinter Nights 2: Mask of the Betrayer (PC)
The first Neverwinter Nights game will always be a timeless classics. The game excels in the way it implements the D&D rule sets and in the ever-growing content, thanks to the modding community. Neverwinter Nights 2 was a really good game. It came out strong with an updated front-end and a few improvements. The multiplayer did have some bugs at first, but most of those have been worked out. This expansion leaves off after the original game, but really has little do to with that storyline. Instead, it tries to focus the game on the survival of the player’s character. Honestly, do you really care about what happens to the Forgotten Realms land? It’s been raped enough as is, leave it alone. They’ve added some items, prestige classes, and new races which should make playing from the beginning tolerable.

Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock (PS2, PS3, X360, Wii)
Yay, we can pay another 50$ for the same old game, but with new songs. But, that isn’t quite the case with this release. I don’t think anyone really cares about Battle Mode, but the ability to play with/against people online is definitely an improvement. Then, there’s the badass list of songs, including from Beastie Boys “Sabotage”, Muse’s “Knights of Cydonia”, and “The Metal” from the greatest band ever, Tenacious D. If you’re even reading this far into this paragraph, you’re probably already a GH fan, and are pretty much guaranteed to buy it.

Oct 31 - Halloween!
Hellgate: London (PC)
Last, but definitely not least, is the game that I am most looking forward to, Hellgate: London. This first-person role-playing game is set in a post apocalyptic London, where you have to fight to survive against a slew of demons. With the ex-Vice President of Blizzard North and the actualy creators of the Diablo series, this series is sure to deliver.

Dec - Honorable Mention
WolfQuest (PC)
WolfQuest isn't in my Top 10 list, but it deserves an honorable mention. Check out the exciting game play in the trailer and try to tell me that there is a better game coming out.
ARRROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! Wolf pack 4 LIFE!
